I heard the trailer for Ken Russell's Altered States over the radio in 1980: yikes  :buggedout:  :buggedout:

As a kid, the trailer for Burnt Offerings (1976) scared me. No trailer scared me as an adult, though.
Is it October yet?

I think I was about 9 when I saw the commercial for FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI w/ Corey Feldman watching Jason emerge from his grave. I was already pretty hardcore for a 9 year old but I don't think I'd seen a whole F13 yet and, I dunno, had to shut that commercial off! F13.VI is still my favorite, too.

Such a unique film. I really can't name another like it. I seriously hope it's not being considered for a remake however.

As a young kid, I saw the trailer for The Omen. No idea why they showed in the cinema, as I must have been there for something more appropriate for my age. It seriously creeped me out.
