Pabst Blue Ribbon Wants its Beer Back

A lot of Pabst Blue Ribbon was stolen recently.

The Pabst Brewing Company is asking the public for help after more than 40,000 pounds of beer was stolen in what may be one of the largest beer heists in history.

Montclair Police said Friday they are investigating two cargo thefts from the Anheuser-Busch distribution center in Montclair, California, at least one of which involved a truckload of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Pabst said it would give the thieves 18 days and 44 minutes to return the beer in its Aug. 21 post – so the clock is ticking. The company is also offering a reward for help solving the theft.

You gotta be really desperate to steal that much Pabst beer.

Bud Light is a bit more palatable than PBR. I've enjoyed it on occasion. I like different brands though.

Pabst is now offering a reward for the return of its water...excuse me, I meant beer.

Pabst Blue Ribbon wants its beer back, and it's offering a reward to help that happen.

Greig DeBow, the CEO of Pabst Brewing Co., said Wednesday that the company will pay up to $20,000 to anyone who provides new information that leads to the recovery of 1,602 cases of Pabst Blue Ribbon and non-alcoholic Old Milwaukee beer. The beer went missing Aug. 17 in Southern California.

"I'm sure they look cool with a garage full of PBR," DeBow said in a post on TikTok. "That's actually not cool though. We want it back."
