I'm only using your words Andrew, misplaced as they may be!  hehe, really should have put a BIG disclaimer at the start of that one...

Yeah, that's the kind of feeling I anticipated... makes you feel kind of cheated, doesn't it... imagine what a buyer of Star Crystal would think... I wonder if Andrew's gonna have to consult an attorney...

I recall years ago (as in 25 or more) a comis strip called 'Shoe' which showed a character writing a movie review calling the movie in question 'a great big piece of garbage trying topass itself off as art'.

He later saw a marquee which quoted his as calling the film 'a great...piece...of art'.

I'm sorta leaning that way too...almost like he spammed us into looking. But ya know, with a rave review like that from Andrew, I suspect I'ma gonna need to see that movie!

Shadow- Wasn't "Shoe" the comic strip with the birds in suits that worked for a newspaper? I used to love that comic although I will admit that at my age then, some of it was over my head.

As your unappointed, nonfamilial attorney, I advise you to take legal recourse and sue the DVD distributors. In doing so, you can halt the release of the picture, and cause a lot of hassle. Maybe you could get a few bucks out of it, or maybe they'd give you that copy you wanted to buy. Or maybe you could just call them.

Forgive the slow response time.  I just finally wandered back here.

It would depend on the quote, thing it quoted, how it affected me, my family and friends, and the subject of the quote.  Rght now I'd say I wouldn't care that much - correct it and move on - but I can see circumstances where it would be irritating.
