Tormented is pretty good; I usually like Bert I. Gordon's movies. FX work isn't much worse than Lost in Space....

... which is sh!t, and I watch 1 episode every Saturday night (Sunday morning) at 1am EST... and yeh, the FX are comparable, maybe slightly better (meaning the movie)...
TORMENTED is a classic bad movie.  Someone had to make it.

She's got on some kind of waterproof supporting undergarment... and her eyeliner is fabulash!

I never even heard of this one!

It also goes under the name BURNED AT THE STAKE (1982).

Thanks for sharing several other flicks of Gordon's for me to check out on the weekend. Maybe I'll start with the rather suggestive 'The Coming'.

Cult_Moody_Movies

I'm mostly familiar with his work through MST3K. I wouldn't say he is a pioneer but at least consistent fun schlock.

Eight of his episodes were on the show.
King Dinosaur (Experiment #210) - director, producer
The Amazing Colossal Man (Experiment #309) - director, producer, writer
Earth vs the Spider (Experiment #313) - director, producer
War of the Colossal Beast (Experiment #319) - director, producer
The Magic Sword (Experiment #411) - director, producer
Tormented (Experiment #414) - director, producer
Beginning of the End (Experiment #517) - director, producer
Village of the Giants (Experiment #523) - director, producer

WingedSerpent

I love those old monster movies.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...
