If it means anything my DC's DOOMDAY was a trump card I still cant understand how comedian Carrot Top beat him ...
I hope it was not in a street fight lol ... After all Doomsday put Supermans nads into his stomach with one kick ...
A good move was by flackbait I used Dark Phoenix a trump card and then he used The 3 Fates - Greek Gods.

i understand what your saying, one of my good ones was defeated by the guy from honey I shrunk the kids.

Fire Ghost, meet WaterWorld:

(And who cares about trump cards?  The idea, at least as originally conceived, was not to "win it all" but to come up with weird, off-the-wall, bad movie references)

it's only natural that if you poster a really good 'monster'(or character) you want another really good 'monster' to defeat it.  It kinda sucks when it is defeated by the laughable carrot-top.

To each his own, but I disagree.  When I started this thread, it was with that kinda idea exactly in mind - to see what warped, creative ways someone could come up with to beat pics, not like more "conventional" picture wars on other sites.  I wanted to see what obscure movie references could be made and the interesting way folks tied one movie character/monster to others.

Since this thread has been going, I've seen references to movies I forgot about or remember seeing but did not know the title.  As usual on Badmovies.org, the depth of movie knowledge in general is truly awe inspiring.  THE THING has made multipe appearances as has the Ymir from TWENTY MILLION MILES TO EARTH, among others.

Of course, we should each play the game however we choose (and though I started this mess, I don't claim to "own" it), but I for one found the Carot Top reference very funny and 'well played' within the scope of the Picture War on THIS forum.

Enough meta discussion from me...back to the action....   Smile
