My dad had a neighbor in Florida with a wicked bat problem.  After several exorbitant quotes from local pest control companies, the man decided to give his grand kids one of these each, and the promise of a dollar a bat.
All evening long, the only thing you could hear was the tell-tale "punngg" as the children brought down bat after bat.
The next day, the old guy had the racquets detuned.

End point is that bats and tennis racquets don't necessarily mix.
