I`m not fussy about the way they`re treating Drew McInytre as I like the guy and his often hard-hitting style. Hope there's going to be something positive come out of it in the end.

But then I've always liked the British grapplers:

it still boggles my mind how they failed to make Hurricane into a main event player after that big win

Agreed.  He seemed incredibly popular, sold boatloads of merchandise.  I dunno. :buggedout:

Give Undertaker some credit too. He had a broken bone in his foot that night going into the match, and still managed to pull off what both guys thought would be a stinker.

Mick Foley will never get enough credit. He's a bit more than a 'glorified stuntman'.

So who will win the Royal Rumble? I think it'll be Jericho and perhaps without him even speaking or getting involved much in the action.

Other predictions:

Daniel Bryan escapes the cage after Big Show-Henry take each other out assuming Henry can go, understand he injured himself at the last Smackdown.

Johnny Ace screws Punk but the decision is overturned by someone else who gets involved and Punk goes on to retain.

Kane and Cena - suspect that one goes to DoubleDQ, or double countout or double knockout - but Cena will move closer to the dark side before it's over.

Surprise rumble returns - Rey Mysterio, Batista, Brock Lesnar, Goldust

Yeah I was surprised how right my predictions were going until the Rumble that is, that was truly unpredictable. Never thought Sheamus would win. Imagine he'd target Daniel Bryan now. I hope Bryan survives the Elimination Chamber though. Big surprises at the Rumble I certainly never saw coming - Ricardo Rodriguez was hilarious, Road Dogg was surprisingly good too and Duggan got a huge pop. Interesting how those old-timers got far more response than many of today's more bland superstars. Weirdest thing - only one Uso was in the Rumble? Was surprised they left Cena, Kane, Mark Henry, Brodus Clay out of the Rumble and I was a bit disappointed there was no major return of a superstar.

I liked the bit in the Rumble where Foley and Santino had the sock vs. the cobra:)
