This Tim Fite fellow seems to have been born without a profit motive.  2/3 of his released albums are available for free on his website, along with 3 free tracks from his commercially released album.  A gifted songwriter, Fite has been compared to Beck, but with talent.  (Not a big fan of Beck). 

My favorite cut is the obvious, but still effective satire of gangsta rap called I Been Shot ("my exit wounds make record exec goons swoon...") 

Torgo, what do you think of THE GRANDE PASSION?  It's on my Amazon wishlist based on the two songs I heard from it.
