They really know how to self title their albums. :bouncegiggle:

Prague Symphony Orchestra - Dvorak : Symphony No. 9 From the New World / Janacek : The Cunning Little Vixen Suite

I've heard New World a billion times, more interested in Cunning Little Vixen: what a title!

Sample: The Cunning Little Vixen. Orchestral Suite from the Opera - Part I (Andante)
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Troy Stetina (guess he either removed the "I" from his name for the album, or maybe it just didn't fit  :teddyr: ) has written a whole pile of guitar instructional books, and I own about half of them.  Love his playing, was excited to hear one of his albums.  Well, the guitar playing is superb.  Unfortunately, the singer is just god-awful.  Imagine an opera singer trying to do punk...or something.  It does have one long guitar solo (thankfully free of any singing) that's about the best thing I've heard since Randy Rhoads' solo on the Ozzy Tribute album.
The world is changed by your example, not by your opinion.

Best full-on ska band EVER.

I've been a fan of The Toasters for what seems like forever.  I remember buying various albums from them back when they were on Moon Ska out of NYC.  A lot of their albums were hit or miss but when they were good, they were spot on.  A seriously influential band and one that is still doing their thing.  I heard "Night Train To Moscow" by them a while back, presumably off of a new album, and they haven't changed things a bit.  That's to be applauded in this modern world of music.

A bald man named Savalas visited me last night in a dream.  I think it was a Telly vision.

What the heck ever happened to Creed?
Pretty much from what I can tell, the lead singer was a total a***ole, became an alcoholic and the band broke up.  So he's working solo on his own albums, while the band formed a new band called Alter Bridge, with a new singer.  They're pretty good.

Best part is, Creed got sued by some fans a few years back, because there was a concert, and the singer was so drunk/inebriated that he stumbled around the stage, forgot the lyrics he wrote and put on a terrible show.  I don't think they won, but I remember seeing it on MTV and 20/20.

He was a raging drunk? I thought he was supposed to be super christian or something.

I've been listening to Permission to Land by The Darkness.  It features this song:

Being a super christian doesn't mean anything, really.  He also made a porn flick, where he and Kid Rock had sex with groupies.  But Kid Rock filed an injunction against the company releasing it, as well as calling Stapp an idiot for letting it leak.
