Rob Zombie-DRAGULA
A lotta people I know don't like Zombie....because he  makes money? He's a VERY talented muscian,a future great horror film director (my opinion) and has good monster-punk sensibilities. I like him!

Doesn't hurt that his first band was named after a Bela film (I saw White Zombie in concert-they had a huge screen in back of them that randomly flashed Bela's face and eyes from that film!) and that this video has the Iron Man from the PHANTOM CREEPS!

I was listening to Damned Damned Damned the other day!  It's a fun record.

Currently been listening to Dark Night of the Soul presented by Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse.  It features work from those two but there're a bunch of people like Gruff Rhys, The Flaming Lips, Iggy Pop, Frank Black and other who contributed to the songs, most notable is David Lynch.  He lends vocals to 2 of the tracks, and he also created a book of photos to accompany the album.

According to producer Danger Mouse, there've been some legal disputes with EMI that have prevented this from being release commercially, so you can just order a blank CD-R with custom artwork (and the book is on Amazon) and use it " however you see fit."  The full album is availabe for download from a number of sources.  It also happens to be a mostly very good album.

Here's a track that features Lynch (and it's one of my favorites from the album):
