Yup, I'd listen to what Pilgermann's listening to.

But instead I'm continuing my soundtrack listening odyssey with

Lucifer Rising Soundtrack, Bobby Beausoleil

As you may or may not know Bobby Beausoleil was given a life sentence for murdering Gary Hinman (in the Manson case). He composed this soundtrack from prison. It's quite excellent spacey instrumental acid rock.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I'd like to get that myself.  The film that goes along with it is excellent, certainly one of Kenneth Anger's best.

Swans - The Seer - I'm a recent convert to Swans.  I'd heard their b-sides and unreleased compilation years ago and enjoyed some of it but mostly thought it was overrated junk.  But there was some hype surrounding this album and I picked up a two-fer with their first and I dug that.  The Seer is a massive record but it's very good.

Beausoleil is  also almost certainly the one who stabbed SHARON TATE to death.

Actually, I'm pretty sure Beausoleil was in prison at the time of the Tate murders. Still, one senseless murder or two, doesn't make a lot of difference. Many people have an ethical issue with listening to music composed by a murderer. I respect that, but personally I have no issue.

Incredible album. Kinda like My Father....meets Soundtracks For The Blind. The world needs more Swans fans.

I was thinking of Charles "Tex" Watson... so, you're probably right.
