the blues

I thought this was pretty good. Christina Ricci was an inspired choice. i like the shot of her flipping off the huge tractor. I like the song samuel jacskon sang at the place, it was totally gangsta. Some of the music seemed a little too produced and not really authentic. I would have used more old blues recordings. It wasn't quite great but still, it had some good exploitation type themes though ultimately it was more about salvation and that sort of thing.

I was intrigued from the trailer and have heard mostly good things about it from friends of mine who have seen it.

Being a big Christina Ricci fan, this has been on my list of must sees since she wears next to nothing throughout the entire movie from what I've heard.

I was a little dissapointed on that score actually. I remember her as being more shapely than she was here. But she is on display as it were.

Yeah, she's gotten really skinny compared to how she used to look.

She used to have killer curves. I still love her eyes however.

I believe she lost weight for the role and has makeup to look more gaunt than she is. She also had a breast reduction a few years back, which is part of the loss of curves thing.

not something that happens very often in hollywood. the plastic surgeon must have been like "huh? you want..less??"

I'm supposed to be borrowing this flick sometime soon from a co-worker so I'll post my thoughts again once I actually get to see it.

And as for Christina Ricci getting breast reduction surgery, she should get slapped with a serious fine for doing that.
