Jess Weixler  (best know from the horror/comedy TEETH)

OK, a thread over in Humorous Captions reminded me of one that might be a little more controversial than we've seen so far.

Grace Jones.

No kidding. Back around 1986 or 87, I thought she was pretty hot.

Grace Jones was smoking hot at least once, in that vampire film where she played an exotic dancer.
Due to the horrifying nature of this film, no one will be admitted to the theatre.

Kirsten Vangsness (but alas, she swings the other way, not that it matters)

A before/After pic.

I thought she was attractive even before the weight loss.  Like a real woman.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Lauren Ambrose- she had a couple of hit movies in the late '90s, notably In and Out starring Kevin Kline (he's a teacher who gets outed at the Academy Awards) and Can't Hardly Wait (kinda hard to be found 'attractive' when your two co-stars are Jennifer Love Hewitt and Melissa Joan Hart.  But I liked her a lot for some reason.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

The cute as hell Jena Malone (Donnie Darko)

"Nothin' out there but God's little creatures - more scared of you than you are of them"  - Warren, "Just Before Dawn"

Had to do some digging to find this thread again.

A Knight's Tale had been playing on one of the movie channels, and the oddly attractive actress in that is Laura Fraser

She's very attractive, but in that movie she wasn't supposed to be the hot woman.  That role went to Shannyn Sossmon.

Laura, like I said is attractive, but what really made her stand out to me was her Scottish accent (her real accent by the way)
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I always thought J. Garafalo had something about her although every time she goes off on a left wing rant I shut her off.

Ever since I first saw her in The Craft, I've always found Fairuza Balk to really attractive in a really weird, trashy kind of way.

The majority of my friends think she's butt ugly but there's just something weirdly endearing about Fairuza.

I can see where you're coming from but she reminds me too much of Eddie Izzard in some pictures.   :teddyr:

To me JG's politics are her most endearing feature.

In hindsight, that's not the most flattering picture. Here's a better one.

And here's a worse one.

Actually Grace Jones is quite attractive. Or she was, she must be like 60 now. She's right on the limit of what I would consider too manly. Sometimes she surpasses it (like in "Conan the destroyer", sometimes she doesn't. there's this little 80s horror movie, much in the vein of "Fright Night" called "Vampire". She plays an exotic dancer and she is absolutely stunning. She does a burlesque number in the middle of the movie which is somehow otherworldly and the movie can never top it.

I remember the movie; I just never found her particularly attractive.  More scary, in my opinion.

I think that's what it is. She has really unique bone structure, with the pronounced jaw and cheekbones. Almost too much, but the right makeup and clothes keep her on the feminine side of the line. The style and the attitude don't hurt either. According to Wikipedia, she's 62. She looks a bit heavier these days, not much, and I'd say she's had some work done, but she's holding up pretty well.

Actually, I don't even mind Grace's music. She has a very sexy contralto voice. Mind you, for every really good song, she seems to have two or three that sound extremely, flamingly gay.

For once we agree.
