John Polonia has passed away at the age of 39.

I have always admired the fact that he and his brother Mark actually got out there and made films and got them distributed. I personally find their films, if nothing else, wildly entertaining and never boring.

R.I.P. John.

Here's hoping you get a Spielberg-sized budget for your film about aliens invading Heaven.

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

I think the Polonia movies were excruciating but, still, for what they were working with, that's about all you could expect.

RIP indeed, John Polonia.

:buggedout:Nooooooo! ... :bluesad:a piece of me just died, the Polonia brothers are one of my favorite indie film teams. Rest in peace, John, on that Blood Red Planet in the sky.

Today sucks! First Gygax, now John Polonia?  :hatred::drink:
Kleel's rule is harsh :-B

I just watched Carnage Road:  The Legend of Quiltface the other day.  Awful movie, but for some reason I was drawn to watch it again.  Bummer.  Only 39.

There should be an official day of mourning on this site for the passing of such an enthusiastic contributor to the movies we all love!

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

His films really did tend to be terrible, but there is always something to admire in somebody who makes something, whatever it is.  I have not made a film, meaning I have never tried, but he did.  And he kept making them.

Fair winds and following seas to you, Mr. Polonia.
