You are being incredibly rude and insulting.

This film is considered to be a classic example of French New Wave cinema, and it's even listed in the book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die.

And no, I've never actually seen it... but I want to.

Happy now?

I refuse to take any more s**t from you.

Let me make this completely clear.  Get it under control.

I'm sorry... I just got really p**sed off when he left an insulting message on my karma, and went on an ignorant rant about my "research skills".

"Get it under control" means not trying to edge in one last shot with "ignorant rant."

7 day ban, effective immediately.

Thank you, Andrew.  I do almost feel sorry for Metropolisforever, as he obviously loves movies and could be a real asset to this forum.  It's too bad a simple challenge can bring out the worst in people.  At least no one can say I single out the "right" for my challenges.
And in keeping with the spirit of Metropolisforever's terrific game.  What is this movie?  (An easy one that some have probably actually seen!)
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

I feel I should know this.

It's not Zorba, The Greek.  I don't think it's one of his war moves and it's obviously not the one about the the Pope. . .

I'm going to kick myself when the title is revealed, aren't I?

Hey... you cut in line!  The ball was in JaseSF's court. :tongueout:

But I'll answer... It's LA STRADA.  (I have seen it!  Though the memory's not fresh.)

I'll let JaseSF post the next pic.
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

I hope not... I mean I hope you won't kick yerself.  It's not a war movie.  I will assure the film is hardly obscure.  Even, in fact, downright famous.

That's right (I mean I cut in line.)  However, it's only intended as a friendly gesture.  And yes it's LA STRADA, one of my favorites.  Now, JASE's turn, of course.

Well I do have to admit to using "talented research methods"   :tongueout:  to acquire the answer to that last title I guessed. Anyways here's a pic from a movie I have seen and I hope some of you have too.

Then you need to watch more movies.   Though the ones Metropolis posted were extremely obscure.

I don't have a clue as to JaseSF's picture.  It's obviously 1950s Sci-Fi.

Not ALPHAVILLE although that's more of a fave than this one.

Hint # 1: It's actually from the year 1965.
