Thank you, Andrew.  I do almost feel sorry for Metropolisforever, as he obviously loves movies and could be a real asset to this forum.  It's too bad a simple challenge can bring out the worst in people.  At least no one can say I single out the "right" for my challenges.    
And in keeping with the spirit of Metropolisforever's terrific game.  What is this movie?  (An easy one that some have probably actually seen!)

I hope not... I mean I hope you won't kick yerself.  It's not a war movie.  I will assure the film is hardly obscure.  Even, in fact, downright famous.
