Is the word "Caligula" anywhere in the title?

If IMDB is to be trusted none of the cast- so far as I've checked- has appeared in any Caligula related films; though one of the actresses has a movie with Messalina in it's title in her filmography.

Here's a hint: One of the actors that appeared in this also appeared in a whole lot of peplums.  Some of the other actors have one or two peplums in their IMDB filmographies- Goliath this, Maciste that- but this one guy *whistle*.

Would that guy be Gordon Mitchell? And would the film be GIANT of METROPOLIS?  Question

Not Gordon Mitchell.  Not Giant of Metropolis.

I think this particular actor just had supporting roles.  Going by IMDB he doesn't seem to have played any major named characters, even so he was in quite a few peplums.  Not as many as Gordon Mitchell, obviously.  Though his filmography does read like a history of Italian cinema from the 60s onward.

If it helps this particular actor was in way more spaghetti westerns than sword-and-sandal epics.

Here's another hint: This particular actor also appeared in at least one movie starring Pam Grier during the 70s and a Bruno Mattei flick in the 80s.  He's also appeared in at least one Laura Gemser movie as, I believe, have most of the female cast.

To aid the process of elimination remember it pays to pay attention to what's previously been posted.  Perhaps even before we began this round.  Wink

Doesn't quite seem to fit, but Cosmo 2000, AKA War of the Planets?

Or how about War in Space/Battle of the Stars?

Sounds like n Italian 1970s exploitation film, possibly directed by Joe D'Amato... that narrows it down to about 20,000 possibilities.

I'm going with Giacomo Rossi-Stuart, which is the guy on the right in the one picture from "War Of The Robots" as well as the guy on the right in the picture Kester posted. He was was in a buttload of Westerns and peplums, and the only movie he was in with Laura Gesmer was "Emanuelle In Bangkok". If nothing else, I got a bit of history about an Italian actor. And, man, was he ever in a lot of crappy movies.

Believe it or not Joe D'Amato can't be blamed for this particular picture, though it is by one of his contemporaries.

You're in the right ballpark.   Be careful, you're about to get sunburn.

While you're right about the original pic IMDB doesn't list Giacomo as appearing in this feature.  Sadly that's also the wrong Emanuelle movie, at least according to IMDB, for thta's not the Emanuelle movie (I believe there is only one) in this particular actor's filmography.  A Django movie is though, as are a couple naziploitationers, at least one of which was released by Shriek Show/Exploitation Digital (?).  Alas. .

"Emanuelle nera: Orient reportage" or "Emanuelle in Bangkok" ?

Not it.

You're pretty smart ya bloody psycho I'm sure you'll guess the actor and the movie.  TeddyR

One more hint: There's a blurb on the DVD release of this from my review of the movie, which was based on a tatty old Nth gen dub.  It's the shortest single word (hyphenated) blurb ever yet the most concise description of the movie itself.  Wink

Don't give up now!  Some of your guesses were very close.  Maybe a fresh persepective will help. Here's another screen cap:
