Psycho Circus

I think I was about 12-14ish. I'd started high school and moved in with my mom, and my dad went and sold tons of my old toy collections to this family. The thing was, he used to take me out to stores and buy me loads of stuff, telling me to keep them (preferably boxed too) 'cause they'll all be worth money when your older. WTF?

This, coming from a man that blows nearly $1000 on horseracing or motown '45s, who then will turn round to me and say, "Oh, I could've given you some of that son. Oh well."

Cthulhu

Man, those were dick moves. Sorry to hear that.

MADBALLS! I had almost all of them, I miss them too.

Madballs? Never heard of them. That's NOT exactly true. We were like brothers.

Dude, those are BACK!  Yes, they're selling a new gen of Madballs today (or at least they were back when I worked at Toys R Us.)  A lot of them are repeats of the first series with some updates, but they also really weird ones.  One actually grossed ME out a little bit, basically it was a squeeze ball with some plastic inside (you know, you squeeze the ball and the plastic bulges out like a bubble?) and it was made to look like it was coming out of the Mad's head.  It had red liquid inside and bunch of plastic spiders, like you know, the Mad had blood and spiders in his brain!

It was actually kind of creepy...

Anyone remember MUSCLE Things?!?

They were small (think about an inch so) plastic pink (and later, other colors) figures.  The back story behind them was they were aliens who came here to invade earth and wrestle each other or some such.  The story wasn't really that well developed but what was awesome was there was SO FREAKING MANY of them.  (Think about 250 or so.)

I had dozens of these things.  I loved playing around with them, especially this one that looked a bit like a monkey wearing a jet pack.

In addition to having them fight each other, I also used them a lot for zombie games.  I was a big zombie nut as a kid, so whenever I played a "zombies rising from the dead" type thing, I used them as stand ins for zombies because I didn't have enough G.I. Joes or Star Wars figures to fill the role.

Ahhh, memories.

OH YEAH! Those things were awesome. When I was a kid I didn`t know they were from an anime called Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy, they were released in North America as M.U.S.C.L.E.
The Human Blood keeps them alive, FOREVER

Yeah, I think your right about the Mad Ball remakes, I seen them around. Cool.

Yup, I remember M.U.S.C.L.E.

I think my 1st 2 Star Wars figures back in the early 80's were Darth Vader and Obi-Wan Kenobi.

I had the At-At as well! It was big.

I used to have these:

You used to play with an alien commode with a giant tongue? What were you supposed to do with it, sit your sisters Barbies down on it and enjoy her screams of disgust?
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...

Gnip Gnop.  Kinda neat game where you shot balls back and forth to each other.

Also we had a bunch of Finger Pops.

I also had a cool Pong game called Blip.

Oh man, Merlin was the shizz!
