Will be Sunday, and I'll let everyone know how much snow we get.  The forecast right now is 12-30 inches with blizzard conditions.  We have 3 inches on the ground here right now, and the storm is supposed to last until 7pm tomorrow night.

Time to get me some snow shoveling PT!

I'm in mid-state New Jersey, hoping that predictions for less snowfall the farther north you are pan out.

Snow free in RI.  Thanks for taking all the snow for us guys.  (dodges snowballs throw at him)

Our final total was around 28 inches of snow.  My arms and back are a little sore from the shoveling, but the kids have really enjoyed the last 3 days.  They have good snow pants/bibs and coats, and the fireplace dries out wet clothes fast once they are hung up on the mantle.  There is a snow fort in our front yard (the snow plow pushed up a pile there), including ramps for sledding down and a tunnel through the snow bank.  The kids were outside most of the day, except for a break for lunch/drying out.

And tomorrow the forecast is...snow.  Another storm is coming and the prediction is 10 to 20 inches of snow.

Well I spoke too soon.  We have about a foot on the way for Wed.  I'll be at work most of the day so I guess I'll be shoveling in the dark.  I have to remind myself to take a muscle relaxer tonight to avoid shoulder issues.

I'm in northeast PA (Pocono Mtns) and we had lucked out with only a dusting over this past weekend  - but not this time.  We are supposed to be getting between 10-18 inches of snow starting Tuesday nite into Wednesday. Just hope we don't have any power outages! Can't wait til SPRING!
Hold onto your dreams ....

yeah no.

It's rare we get snow where I live in Alabama. Often it's just a flurry at best and I love it that way. I'd hate to have to go out and shaovel that crap every winter. That being said, there is a possiblity of snow this Friday. Granted it's no where near the amount thsoe of you int he North have been getting. A couple of inches at best and that will melt away in a couple of days. still, it will trigger my favorite faux sport, panic shopping. I plan to be in a gorcery store to watch old women fight it out over cases of toilet paper.

Global climate change,  :bluesad: Like everything in human experience, it's the learning curve, plus nothing in Earth's history or our own experience as a species is precedented.  How do you know that "global climate change" isn't God's plan to bring about Armageddon?

Honestly, Indiana, if it weren't for the good of all, I'd prefer palm trees swaying here in a globally warmed New Jersey.

Here in Monmouth County, NJ, we got 18 inches with more expected Wednesday.  More shoveling expected.

I've never seen [except from a plane] or been in snow at all.

I live in RI where we are used to it.  However, the general population still panics and they go out and buy the two essentials for survival...milk and bread.

It's snowing now; covering all the walkways and driveway I'd cleared over the last 3 days... and I didn't even do most of it!!    :bluesad:

The day after tomorrow is my brother's 58th birthday.  I've invited everyone to my house this weekend to celebrate.  I expect everything to be clear by then.  I hope.

EDIT: Just shoveled the driveway...

EDIT: Shoveled my driveway twice since the wee hours... shoveled walkways... shoveled back door... it's still coming down... still... coming... down...  :bluesad:
