I've been searching ebay for this on dvd for ages but i can never find it. I know Code Red released it on dvd about a year ago so I assumed it would be easy to find. Can anybody point me to a site which has it - only problem is I don't have a credit card so amazon is out of the question.

edit: I had found it on ebay awhile back, but it was a dvdr from overseas. Apparently I was mistaken about its release. I checked out Code Red's site and there is no release date as of yet.

Wow, great Deliverance derivative, with Hal Holbrook and a freaky burned-up mountain man.  Filmed in Canada, cheap on budget, high on production.  i was quite impressed with this when I first saw it years ago.  I'd quite forgotten about it, to speak the truth.

The Burgomaster

This movie is included in one of Mill Creek's 50 movie packs (I can't remember which one, but I own it).  I'm sure the quality isn't nearly as good as the Code Red version.  But I'm not a big fan of this movie anyway.

Wow, I thought it was one of the best "survival" movies I'd ever seen. What didn't you like about it?

I just thought it was sort of dull.

I agree with Burgo.  I remember seeing it on tv long, long ago and went out of my way to try to track down and watch.  Not quite worth the effort, though I did like the scene where they cross the river with bear traps in it.
