LOL, I can just imagine somebody naming their ship the Titanic 2  :bouncegiggle:  I'll have to check this out though, the Asylum movies are usually stupidly entertaining.

This movie is in desperate need of a giant sea monster.

Granted, I said that about the first one, but it's even more true this time.

Just recently seen the Sherlock Holmes (Asylum movie) and thought it was impressivly good (although silly)

I do think its very smart to make a ship called Titanic 2 and call it Titanic 2... I'd wonder how many fans for the Titanic movie will watch this and thinking its part 2... :)

Doggett

QuoteOn the 100th anniversary of the original voyage, a modern luxury liner christened "Titanic 2," follows the path of its namesake. But when a tsunami hurls an ice berg into the new ship's path, the passengers and crew must fight to avoid a similar fate.

Oh, man...

I predict they hit the berg.

If you're an Andy Milligan fan there's no hope for you.

And they of course make the mistake of taking no lifeboats i'm sure.

Oh - it's a new ship.  I was thinking they could subtitle it something cool, like:

TITANIC II - STILL DEAD
TITANIC II - THE SHARK'S DINNER
TITANIC II - THE ICEBERG MEMOIRS

You get the idea!

No they don't.  The last time there was a sea monster in a Titantic movie, it was a gigantic, talking dog faced octopus that had thrown an iceberg into the Titanic's path at the request of a bunch of talking sharks.

It is La Leggenda Del Titanic made in Italy 1999, a year or two before the Titanic: The Legend Goes On aka The Animated Musical.  Somehow, this film is considerably worse than that film and I already went off on a rant it and its sequel.  Yes, there has been already has been a Titanic 2 in the past.  Anyway here's the unholy first film itself:

I still like it better than the Dicaprio movie.

Silly fool.  You wouldn't be saying that after watching Legend of the Titanic all the way through!  The romance is far worse and the history is incredibly insulting than any other Titanic movie out.

First off my head hurts.  First the Re-Animator Remake and now Titanic 2.

I will agree with Chainsaw Midget, we need a monster in the see to attack the Titanic and the we need all of the older horror guys (Jason, Micheal, Freddy, Pin, etc.) to be part of the crew.  That would make a great move.

Hmmmm, we could have many many many many sequels.  We could eventually have Gov Arny, Danny Glover going up against the Terminator who crash landed on the Ice Berg that hits the Titanic which realeases the Alien.  I'm sure Sigorney Weaver could make a cameo or something.

Later,
