I dunno . . . I saw this in the theaters when if first came out and loved it!  Yes, it has reality flaws you could drive an 18 wheeler through, but none of them occurred to me until a few days after I'd seen it.  While I was in the theater, I was tremendously entertained.  And that's all I ask of a movie.

So do I, this one obviously didn't do it for me.  :teddyr:

Woot! Glad to see you back!

I saw Signs in a packed theater when it was new and remember liking it. It wasn't until subsequent viewings on cable that I really began to see the holes in the story. These days I don't look favorably on most of his stuff, though if I see them in the cheapie bin at Walmart, I still buy them. :teddyr:

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Sorry, but I actually like the film.  The ending is weak admittedly, but the buildup is good.

You guys did see the same movie as me right?  You sure you didn't happen to walk into the wrong theater that day?

I never saw it in the theater.  I own it on DVD and saw it several times.

I really liked the sound design in this movie, and if it wasn't for the brain snap Shymalan had at the end, it was actually quite good.  The use of noise while the 'invasion' happens with clamouring on the roof and what not was pretty effective.

Well at least, I think it was.  The moment you see the alien walk out of the bushes for the first time in that footage part is one of the more spine tingling moments I had when watching a film.

I even liked the ending, until I thought about it for more than 30 seconds.  Other than that I was pretty happy with it though.

Its a shame the ending is so stupid.
