Well folks... the film has landed... and well there's just nothing to say.  It's a sequel where the first film was a movie in this own in film and now some random weirdo wants to do what the film did.  Bah, I don't care.  The Human Centipede triliogy (Yes sir, movie 3 will be appearing in 2013) has a freaky and disgusting idea that just does not appeal to me in the slightest, but it is one of those movies that'll get people talking.

Since it just got little over a week ago according to my research, does anyone here have any thoughts on it?  Was it better than the first, was it worse than the first, does it feel like a third movie would be a good idea; just what did you think?

Oh, here's a random review from I guy I trust on the film:

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

I honestly feel Tom Six is ballsy as hell for doing these films.  Its a huge taboo idea and that is often what makes cinema great.  This one is another wonderfully odd concept I'll probably enjoy watching to some degree.

I kinda like the first. Odd approach to take for a sequel: the first didn't happen. Or some such.

I only saw the first cause it popped up on cable for free. May do that with the sequel.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

well I won't be watching this because it's been banned (I'm english you see, and in england whenever we see a film we end up immediately copying everything we see in the film - thank god for the censors otherwise I'd be in jail for life already). watching that trailer though, it looks pretty badly acted and scripted tbh

The Burgomaster

I bought the first one.  I'll probably buy this one, too . . .

AndyC

I get the impression that where Dr. Heiter was neat and professional and knew what he was doing, Sixx is now showing a hack job by a brutal slob with no surgical training. I'm curious about this one, but not really enough to see it. I think it's going to lose some of what actually made the first one enjoyable for me. And I've said before that I don't like sequels in which the first movie is just a movie. Return of the Living Dead is probably the only time that gimmick has worked for me.

Hammock Rider

This looks like just more "gross out" horror. It seems pretty unpleasant.

Not my genre or interest.  I took a gander at #1 after AndyC (I think) have it a reasonably positive review, but it was still sh(l)ock exploitation which is not my cup of bodily fluids.   I have a morbid interest in the series but not to actually WATCH it.

Post script 15 minutes later- After reading a detailed summary: no, not even remotely interested.

Please! That movie doesn't have "sequel" written anywhere on it. Yes, it was a horrific idea, but that was it - an idea. The whole movie just hang from that one nail. If it's just someone imitating the actions in the first movie I'd probably be better off watching any one of the Saw movies.

I really don't need to see this...ugh.
The whole concept is just kinda revolting.

Have the first one on the NetFlix queue.  Heard it was good.  Seems gross, but a different kind of terror movie.  The trailer on this one makes it look a grasp to ride the coat tails of the first one.  It seems to push the boundries of gross and disturbing.

Will think about watching this one after I watch the first.

I was honestly bored by the first one, but I might still check out the second.

Torgo

I thought that the first film was a truly disturbing, revolting & original premise that was completely undermined as a film by hamfisted & botched execution. I have no interest in the sequel as a result of that.
