I know you guys don't like either of these movies and have made your feelings well known, calling out that these movies have destroyed, wrecked, or ruin a beloved franchise you hold dear to your heart.  While I have no problem or beef with either of the films (although I recognize and understand your frustration), I am curious.  Of these two films, which do you hate more?  You can't copout and say you hate them both equally, not an option.  Pick one and say why.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

Robocop

I used to hate Indiana Jones 4 with a passion being that it feels flat compared to the previous three, but as a standalone action/advantage film, I think it works.

Star Wars Episode I on the other hand isn't just an insult when tied together with the orignal trilogy, but its just utter s**t on so many levels, not even enjoyable as a standalone piece lile IJ4, or even a piece of B-trash entertainment.

So Star Wars Episode I for me

Gotta go with Indy 4. I knew Ep. 1 was lame, but I didn't think even a senile George Lucas could F up Indy, boy was I wrong.

Indy 4 didn't strike me as any worse than the other Indiana Jones movies.  Episode 1 on the other hand was probably the worst Star Wars movie of the entire series, and I'm counting the Holiday special.

I would say that I'd rather watch episode I, even with Jar Jar, than rewatch Kingdom of the Crystal whatever.

I actually *remember* episode I.  I barely remember Kingdom of the Crystal, er, whatever.  I remember the nuked fridge.

Indiana Jones 4: Well let's see.  A lot of people pointed out to the implausibility of surviving in a fridge flung by a nuclear explosion.  But then again, the first three Indiana Jones movies had unbelievable moments as well, such as the Arc of the Covenant releasing ghosts to melt Nazis, surviving a fall from a plane in a life raft, and immortal knights.  So the inclusion of aliens, or the fridge aren't as out of place as people make them out to be.

But there was no real parts of the film that where really memorable, in a good way.   Plus Shia Leauff

Star Wars Episode 1 has been pulled apart enough that nothing new could really be said.  However, I think the film wanted to be better then it was. And there's the fact that there where some cool parts. Well, really, only the final fight with Darth Maul.

In the end, I'll go with Star Wars

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

SynapticBoomstick

I want to slap it on Indy 4 if only for the blue screen Mutt swinging through the trees bit. There are just some things that cannot be reproduced with a computer and/or look better from a practical standpoint, and that scene just looked too cartoonish for me.

I didn't like Indy 4 at all, but I feel Episode one is vastly worse.

The ark being opened in the first "Raiders" was staged as a supernatural event. While the neuclear explosion in "Crystal Skulls" was grounded in actual everyday science. People most likely couldn't survive a neuclear explosion in a fridge. However wheather or not someone could survive the wrath of God, theological debate aside, has not been established in terms of science. I also think the UFO thing just bugged the crap out of everybody.

IMO definitely it is worse Episode 1.
I think IJ4 is not so bad; the really bad problem is that in the final part the movie goes nowhere for like 20 minutes (the chase in the forest comes to mind), finally it returns normal when they reach the alien base; another aspect I did not like is that Indiana is somewhat a secondary character, but it might be intended.

Episode 1 instead is a mess without almost any sense. Nice fights though.

I couldn't say I stayed with Indy 4 all the way through however I kinda figured that would happen seeing I had that attitude going in.  Episode 1 I was completely pumped up about only to find out it was utter and total s**t.  So I'm giving the nod to Episode 1 here.
