Getting better. We'll have springlike temperatures next week, with the probability of one more cold snap remaining in late March.

Hot during the day, rain at night.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Warmest day of the year so far: 20°C
Temps still go below 0°C at night, though.
Is it October yet?

RCMerchant

It was in the 60's for a while. Back down to 39F today.
That's Michigan for ya.

I think we might be getting a early winter here 😳

According to Reed Timmer, last year my state had 350-percent more severe weather events than the norm, placing it very narrowly under Kansas, in fourth place in the nation, almost in third after Texas and Oklahoma. I'm sick of bad storms, the watches, the warnings, the sirens, the reports of life-threatening storms scrolling across the TV screen, the tension of waiting through to the all clear, and haven't gotten over the batch that came through a couple nights ago, and now more are forecast. It begins to be like being forced to pause your life to play Russian roulette on a recurring basis.

Stormy here this morning, but nothing dangerous.  Just rain and wind.

Started thunderstorming here about 7in the morn. Gonna be another wild day. Suppossed to be tornado watches all day and tonight. Ho boy.  :bluesad:

It's going to get to the 80s today, then the forecast is for about a week of below normal temps.

Rainy. We need it, but it's not much fun.

Twenty-one simultaneous tornado warnings right now in the storm system that's due here tonight. I admit this is scary.

Yeah they are making a big deal about this storm system. I think flooding is the major risk and it won't effect me where I live. Wind damage would certainly be annoying. Tornadoes are something I've never worried about. Who's even seen one? I've heard dozens of tornado sirens in my life, but never known anyone who's actually been affected by one.

Rev. Powell

Mostly I'm worried about the real possibility of losing power or internet. That's an inconvenience.

I've seen tornados. Right here in Lawton. Just a few years ago.
But the BIG storm that was supposed to happen tonight never did. It's stormed all day, but no serious wind.
