After a light dusting yesterday we finally got a few inches of snow last night. This is our first real snow this winter season, arriving about two months too late.

Kind of a pretty sunset here.

Another balmy day in Minnesota.  Forecast says:  "Bitterly cold. A mix of clouds and sun. Dangerous wind chills may approach -35F. High -6F. Winds WNW at 15 to 25 mph."

Try not to be too jealous  :teddyr:

Acting like its hormones are all outa whack. Minus thirty with wind chill one day, forty-five above the next, and gale-force winds overnight.

More snow last night, bright sunny warm today. This abnormal weather is killing me  :bluesad:

We have snow in the forecast this week - the first time in 30 years.

Another heatwave about to hit.  This time we may break some more records for days in a row over 40c/104f!

So yeah, this time next week my state's probably going to be an inferno again...

Crazy cold again this morning.  Newt, you need to call your weather and tell it to come back home!

- and you may be getting the 'warm' end of it!   (Our 'normal' temperature for this day is -1 celcius; today our windchill is starting at -30C   :buggedout: )  As soon as someone here can persuade the Inuit weather spirit Qailertetang to pick up her toys and go back home, we'll all be a lot more comfortable.  Then we can all hunt down the idiot who ticked her off...

eta: Apparently the ritual involves a man dressed as a woman in an outfit at least partly made of seal skin/fur.  I'm sure someone here would be happy to volunteer for the part.

It's snowed a few inches again last night, and it was overcast / cold (-1C) during the day. That's more like it
