Unexpected overnight snow. Probably a regional thing because forecast didn't see it coming.

Smokey haze all around as a few bushfires are raging outside of the city.  So far only some houses gone, but no loss of life, unlike last time it was like this.  Hopefully it means people are better prepared.

As much as I love snow, I am getting sick of shoveling it. Spent an hour and an half two days over the weekend just shoveling, shoveling, shoveling some more....

We got another batch today...and apparently the only break in it for the rest of the week is tomorrow and that's only because it's supposed to be too cold...more shoveling, shoveling, shoveling to come. Most snow I can remember in quite a few years.

No snow today but cold enough to freeze yer arse off. Of course, also shoveled up from last night's batch. Winter's just lingering on...some folks though are loving it, living it up on snowmobiles, etc. I love snow but am just getting tired of it continuously coming with few milds in between.

Mild weather here, heard "spring birds" calls every morning before sunrise since the beginning of the week. They usually don't start chirping until the end of March, but for a couple of years they start early in February. Forecast predicts a severe drop in temps by the end of February. We'll see if that will actually happen.
