They are calling for 104 here today.  I'm going to go to the lake and stay in the water as much as possible!

I just looked after you posted this and it appears it's going to be hotter in London today than it is here. I know Sweden was in the nineties last month. Crazy times. Stay cool where you are.

One of my friends who lives and works in London sent me this message:

Shift — Today at 8:55 AM
So it's going to be 37 today and 40 tomorrow and I'm working in a stuffy car park 4 levels underground with no air....

If I don't make the game tomorrow I've done a jack frost

I do not envy him. Those temperatures are in celsius for people who use older systems.

Typical Midwestern summer. Heat waves, humidity, storms. Heat waves, humidity, storms. Heat waves, humidity, storms. Then will come gloriously beautiful autumn.

We had a short but torrential downpour last night. Today has been warm with some clouds.

Yeah, my family is from Michigan and now is in Missouri.  We've contemplated buying some family property in Michigan, it seems like a much better place to be in for the long haul.

Well, it goes without saying that Michigan is a better state than Missouri already, but with the weather getting worse that's even more true.  Spending a week on Lake Michigan beaches last year made it even more obvious.  But man, the property prices have gone insane the past few years.

For 10 days temps didn't rise above 30°C (86°F) which is nice. Temps went down to 9°C (48,2°F) tonight and made for a good sleep.

We had a rainy weekend last week but sadly not many thunderstorms this summer.

Normal winter's day here: cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey  Buggedout until about 9 am and then pleasantly warm.

I might: I have a jacket similar to the one Brian Dennehy wore in First Blood so I might need that  Wink
