We are not  ... evil!   Just gullible.  EVE, the first woman, believed a story that a snake told her.  l'll admit, a talking snake should have been her first clue!  Duh!  But we all know that it was SATAN, masquerading as that snake,  who told her to give the apple to ADAM, the first man.   That didn't make her a bad person ... just an airhead.
