For me, it'd be a split between Hastings (videos and music) and the Warner Bros. Store.
If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

Either on a house payment, or materials for a new fence, my new loft over the garage, and fixing the eave over the porch.  Anything left over would go towards a new fridge/icemaker.

By "blow", laddie, I meant being free to spend it on fun, cool stuff.

Hold onto your dreams ....

55" Dynex 1080p HDTV from Best Buy and the 4 year extended service plan.  Then I'd need the Alien Anthology on Blu ray, which would leave just enough for a 12 pack of beer

I'd probably be boring and put it on my bank account.

Oops.  Well, this is stuff I really want done.. I already have a lot of cool stuff.
Well.. lessee..
A Galaga cocktail or a Crazy Climber cabaret, maybe.  Or both if I can get them cheap.

The Gravekeeper

That'd go toward paying off my student loans.

...what? I'd be $1000 closer to paying back that debt. Oh fine...fun stuff I'd spend it on: custom-made computer for art and gaming purposes, a weekend in the mountains, and whatever's left would be used to buy cheap DVDs and used copies of out-of-print video games.

FatFreddysCat

I'd split it evenly between Sound Exchange (my nearest "cool" independent record/CD store) and the beer store.

An anime and manga store opened in my town recently and if I had a $1000 bucks, I go over there and just buy them out of a lot of their stuff.  Got to help support the small business owners (And get stuff I want) and all.

We live in quite an interesting age. You can tell someone's sexual orientation and level of education from just their interests.

That's ten thousand SA Rand so I would put it down as a deposit on a new car which I badly need. A nice pick-up (or "bakkie" as we call them here) will do nicely.

I blow $1000 every month on Blu-rays so yeah, with the extra $1000 I could blow $2000 on Blu-rays
