I thought I'd start this because I'm getting an early start this year. I'm currently wrapping what I got for my brother and dad.

I'm giving my brother The Third Man, Touch of Evil (Director's Cut), Sunset Blvd. and Strangers on a Train.

I'm getting my dad The Sting, Vertigo, Citizen Kane and Kubrick's Lolita.

My brother and I are going to give my mom a spa gift certificate to a local place.

Board games, mostly.  I'll probably whip up some scarves or hats too.

Wait . . . you people shop for Christmas in NOVEMBER????
I usually start on Christmas eve!

Our son wants a Nexus 7.  I don't know what that is but I'm sure it's expensive.  Our younger daughter always wants clothes - my wife takes her shopping about 24 times during December.  Don't know what our oldest wants.

I'm getting my wife a DVD of Certain Prey, which is based on a novel by John Sandford, one of her favorite authors.  And I always get her something nice from the jewelry store but I haven't done any shopping for that yet.

Oh and mom always gets a gift certificate to a clothing store and dad is the most impossible person in the world to shop for - I usually get him golf balls lol.

The Gravekeeper

For my sister: Freezy Pups (she and her boyfriend have two very active pups who love to run around outdoors, so they'll get lots of use out of this in the summer), and some handmade soap.

For my boyfriend: Season 1 of Adventure Time and a Games Workshop gift certificate.

Yeah, it's not much, but I'm still a university student. Gotta go for fairly inexpensive stuff that they're still going to love and get good use out of, y'know?

LOL, I've borrowed my dad a few DVD's.  If he hasn't gotten around to watching them in 18 months or so I start threatening to take them back  :bouncegiggle:

Earlier today I pickied a family members name out of a hat, per tradition on turkey day, and I buy what is on the piece of paper for that person.

I'm getting Listening In - JFK book, the CD Badlands and a leather check book cover.

No ma'am. That would be FAR too destructive. You'll have fun with one of those. Leave his them alone.
