I saw The Simpsons Viva Ned Flanders episode over the weekend and was surprised to find The Moody Blues in it ~ I always wanted to know what was inside Ray Thomas' flute, now I know it conceals a dagger.  Buggedout Wink

I'm not a big fan of the band Anthrax but their episode of Married With Children was great.

My all time favorite has to be when the Ramones sang "Happy Birthday" to Mr. Burns on "The Simpsons"...

Joey: "We'd just like to say, this gig SUCKS!"
Johnny: "Yeah, up yours, Springfield!"
(band plays song)
C.J.: "Go to hell, ya old bastard!"
Marky: "Hey, I think they liked us!"

The Doobie Brothers on What's Happening.

Honorable mention of The Seeds on The Mothers-In-Law, Mel Torme on Night Court, and Fabian literally singing Turn Me Loose to a fanatical Laverne and Shirley. (though, the last two were individual artists so I don't know if they count)

 Thumbup
That, and the Spinal Tap cameo are probably my favorites.  I'm not a huge fan of Sting but his appearance on The Simpsons was pretty great too ("Quiet Marge, he's a fast digger!"  BounceGiggle)

Alice Cooper in WAYNE'S WORLD
not a fan, but Eminem in FUNNY PEOPLE

Never been a fan of Korn, nor have I paid much attention to South Park after the first couple of seasons, but I loved the halloween episode, "Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery." Great Scooby Doo parody, and a really weird thing to do with the guest stars. Plus, it was a funny episode in general.
