did anyone see this remake. what are your opinions?

I'm in 2 minds about whether to see it.

Haven't seen it and I have no desire to do so. Nothing will EVER top the original. Joe Spinell, you are the man.

I really like the original, but as with all other remakes ( apart from A Nightmare On Elm Street ) I will watch it just to see what they do and where they go with it.

The reviews that I've seen for it have been decidedly mixed. Most praise Elijah Wood's performance thought. I'll see it at some point.

For the most part the rating system at IMDB makes no sense-BRIDE OF THE MONSTER (1955) has for the most part excellent reviews praising the movie-yet it only rates a 3.7. Go figure. I rated it a 10,of course-and Im not the only one to do so.
