That's it, gettin' in on this...

A WIND FULL OF SHARKS.
FOR A FEW SHARKS MORE.
THE GOOD, THE SHARK AND THE UGLY.
SHARKZILLA.
EATEN WITH THE WIND.
SHARKNADO HANGOVER.
THE WILD SHARKS.

I caught this last night, and have to say I enjoyed it. It reminded me of the big bug invasion movies from the 50's. The premise was ridiculous, but the actors played it totally straight. And the acting was good, Especially Ian Ziering, but Tara Reid and the dude that played Ziering's son... not so much. Great fun flick!

Ed, Ego and Superego

I watched it last night and expected to hate it, and ended up having a lot of fun.  I liked it a lot.

This flick MUST go to DVD, preferably the $5 bin at Wal-Mart.
Possible sequels-

SHARKNADO VS CHUCK NORRIS
JASON VS SHARKNADO
FREDDY VS SHARKNADO
EDWARD AND BELLA VS SHARKNADO
HARRY POTTER AND THE TORNADO OF SHARK
If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

The best sequel in my eyes would either be "Sharknado Goes to Hell" or "Zombie Sharknado"

Chainsawmidget

Another Possible sequel.

Sharknado vs Piranhacane

How about...

SHARKNADE VS. TREMORCONDA.

And the Sharknado-Mania continues!! Just got this info in my e-mail from a friend...

QuoteRegal Cinemas will host midnight screenings of Syfy's telemovie and social media sensation "Sharknado" on Friday August 2nd.

The screenings will take place at roughly 200 theaters across the country, including New York City's Regal Union Square Stadium 14 and L.A.'s Regal L.A. Live Stadium 14.

The cinema chain will screen the film in the hopes of replicating the fun of midnight theatrical showings of movies such as "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and in more recent years "The Room".

People are still talking about this and my own parents are even teasing me about my disinterest in this movie on the grounds that it's stupid. I'm probably going to have to cave and just watch it. If major theaters are playing it, life may be trying to tell me something.

So... Sharknado is being released into theaters (Regal Cinemas, anyway) as a midnight show. I'll be seeing it for the first time Friday night.

Please let us know what it was like seeing it with an audience, Ted and have a blast!  :teddyr:

We saw it last weekend and loved it. My children are still talking about it.

We saw some of ffc's tweeted sequel suggestions!

I loved the commercials for GHOST SHARK. We later watched the trailer for SNOW SHARK:ANCIENT SNOW BEAST (I have GOT to see this one), and my children are making up their own shark themes for movies.

My son came up with PEANUT BUTTER SHARK.

This is the fun and pure joy for movies I recall from when I was young.

For real? Yay! Then joining Twitter wasn't a total waste of time!!

QuoteMy son came up with PEANUT BUTTER SHARK.

I like that one. My ten year old came up with FLAMMABLE SHARKS, which has got possibilities. He sez he thought of it because "the only thing cooler than sharks falling from the sky, would be sharks falling from the sky ON FIRE."  :teddyr:

I seen it.
Good sweet Jebus.
I think the Sy-Fy channel picked up where the old 1950's AIP left off-except AIP stuff was more believable(!?!).
Aint as good as the classic MEGA PYTHON VS GATOROID,but what is?
