Zombeavers (2014)  :hot:

ZOMBEAVERS is an action-packed horror/comedy in which a group of college kids staying at a riverside cabin are menaced by a swarm of deadly zombie beavers.

It really seems to come from the '70...  :buggedout:

I haven't seen it yet, but it co-stars one of my favorite stand-up comics Billy 'redface' Burr.

I've not seen it yet, but I'm really looking forward to it.

Why does my local HASTINGS store NOT have this movie>?????

Finally got to see this today . . . and it was hilarious and awesome!!!
Everything you could wish for from a movie that combined the themes of killer beavers and zombies.
A bad movie lovers dream - and best of all, NO CGI!!!!!

I think some blood was added in postproduction... Anyhow, I agree that this is how it should be. CGI to improve practical effects, not to replace them.

What's it running on?

I rented it at Hastings.

I just watched this. I enjoyed it overall. It is a blatantly stupid, one-joke movie that saves itself by having the actors play it straight rather than for laughs. The characters are, for the most part, morons, but that is to be expected in a movie about zombie beavers that can barely move--how else could the rodent puppet monsters catch their prey? And what happens to those people who fall victim to the flat-tailed menace--oh my goodness....

This is definitely a low-budget movie, and this shows up in the writing as well as in the effects, but it is fun. And it's on Netflix!

I loved when the beavers got the dog!!

We did not enjoy this. We were hideously disappointed. The movie was way too confused about what it was trying to do and would sometimes have fun with it and then take itself seriously in others. Just another series of missed opportunities.

The song by Ace of Base comes into my mind when I see that pic: "Don't turn around........."  :buggedout: :buggedout:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

SynapticBoomstick

This whole idea just seems to hang on the visual cover gag of "lol lady parts". That kind of frat humor just kills any potential that zombie rodents may have held and puts me in the mind of freaking ThanksKilling.
