surprised I hadn't checked this out before now because it's not exactly obscure, and I've been watching literally any Italian 70s/80s horror I can get my hands on for years now

this film has some of the funniest bad script/acting/dubbing I've come across

try the 'round the table conversation' scene from 16:10 to 17:30 for a example of how camp it gets:

Bloody Moon

it does start to drag a bit as it goes on, but overall I thought it was more entertaining than most standard giallos. And the infamous decapitation saw scene is a highlight of course!

I did NOT enjoy this flick the first time I saw it. Jess Franco tries his hand on the slasher / giallo genre. Sounds neat, but he really blew it with this one. Personally I thought it was quite excruciating and not really even good-bad.Garden Of The Dead it ain't. Maybe (I said MAYBE) I'll give it another watch sometime. For instance, I did not enjoy Intruder (1987?) on the first watch, but now it's one of my fave second tier slashers, so I might be a little forgiving next time around.

I swear the same two girls do the English dubbing of every Italian movie ever made  :bouncegiggle:

shame. I thought it was good-bad . although it could've had about 15 mins trimmed off, got a bit tedious in places
