I think I've said this before, but I'll reiterate it here,

I'm worried that the whole Whitewalker threat will be taken care of too quickly.  Seeing as how they've been building up to the war against them since they very beginning of the series, it feel like we need just an entire season 8 just to properly show the fight.

Also, this series won't have a happy ending.  A bitter sweet one maybe, but even if a fan favorite does win the Iron Throne, it will be a very Pyrrhic victory.

Sorry. I do understand people liking the series, but seasons 5 and 6 pretty much sucked away my enthusiasm for the show. I think I was probably one of the only people who wished Jon Snow got worse than he did, just because I'm grumpy and old, I guess.
