Well,  I didn't see leeches on your admirably compiled list and there. Was. A. Movie about giant killer leeches called 'attack of the killer leeches.'

Meant giant octopus like in 'tentacles'.  In 'octop***y' (yes I'd like to forget it too)  a man was killed by a much more realistic octopus species,  a small,  blue ring octopus which is one of the most venomous little b@st@rds on earth.  And while some people may have been killed by a giant octopus,  I guarantee you more people are killed by blue ring octopi in real life.

So. Giant octopus/blue ring octopus?
