^ I don't think I have ever seen a St. Patrick's Day Parade in a movie, let alone a chase involving a St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Yeah, it's always Mardi Gras, or Independence Day, or when in a foreign country, Carnival....

The only one I can think of is in GOD TOLD ME TO (the scene with Andy Kaufman).

Those are funny, but I've read that Medieval people, lacking sugar in their diet, actually had decent teeth.

Oh these are indisputable fact we all learned from movies, right?  I fell victim to some of these.  When I was 18 (and single) someone started a car on fire outside our house and I was certain it was going to explode as #10 suggests.  It was probably the only time I had been what one might call "hysterical" and my friend/roommate at the time had to slap me to calm me down (slapping a hysterical woman to calm her down is missing from this list BTW).  I then proceeded to quietly & calmly round up my cats (#13) and take them to safety until the inevitable explosion happened (it didn't).

There was a St Patricks Day Parade in Maniac Cop.

The Fugitive has one: very short but it's there and it wasn't set up for the movie.
