zombie no.one

most of my favourite bad movies were made by directors who either (a) only made 1 movie, or (b) made a bunch of movies but there's only 1 that I actually enjoy.

for consistent badmovie making prowess I can only really think of Fulci, and Lenzi right now

Yeah- I forgot his name! Harold Warren- he sold pig s**t or something,  before- and after- he made MANOS .
Jerry Warren made only 3 movies that I sat threw. It was PAINFUL!
FRANKENSTEIN ISLAND (1981) is great, though!

One of the best BAD movies I have ever seen! It's got Cameron Mitchell and John Carradine's floating head!

I keep going to compile a list. I get to number 1 and then think "Ahyup. Done."

So here we are.

#1 George Lucas. (Don't get me wrong I love Star Wars, but almost everything he did right, he did by accident).

He directed the bad 1980s Captain America movie and a lot of bad direct to video movies. I guarantee you've seen one of his movies and didn't know it.

Right on, brother!   Star Wars was saved in the edit.   Georges initial script and film was long, drawn out, jumbled and lacking dramatic tension. His ex wife saved his ass.

#14
1. George Lucas (not kidding)

2. Jeannot Szwarc (have you seen Supergirl? Or Santa Claus, the Movie?  They make no sense)

3.  Jesus Franco (wow.  He always delivered under budget and under acted..)

4.  Tommy Wissau

5.  Edward D. Wood Jr. (though I have a fondness for his s**t movies)

6.  J.J. Abrams  (yes, he's un-imaginative, dull and ...that f**king lens flair!)

7.  Zach Snyder (he directed the second movie I walked out on.  Plus, he's less imaginative and dull witted than JJ!)

8.  J.J. Abrahms. (yes I hate his movies that much i listed him twice)

9.  Richard Linkateer (he directed the first movie I walked out on: "Slackers")

10.  Paul Kyriazi (Granted, he made my all time favorite bad movie "Death Machines"  that does not excuse his lack of directing skills)

PS, I refuse to put Roger Corman on my worst directors list.  He's made some entertaining (occasionally) good movies.
