i missed going to thrift stores alot. to the point that today's jaunt, which netted NOTHING on my list, but DID yield a few unexpected treasures, did NOT frustrate me in the least. that's odd for me.

On the one hand, that might suck, on the other hand, you might think if if as a learning experience.......

Y' ever wonder how many people chose the blue pill over the red one?

Y' ever wonder what would happen if y' tried to take both?

Y' ever wonder what would happen if y' did take neither one of 'em?
That y' either bought into th' notion you were going crazy, or y' thought this dude sittin' in front o' you had already slipped y' somethin' & he was trying to get y' hooked?
Or maybe y' just wanted to think about for a bit, or instead of deciding, y' really wanted t' sit back & see how this whole thing played out while everybody else did all the crazy stuff?

I keep forgetting how lucky I've been in this recession...

Pretty much every night, there's been some story about somebody who lost there job because of the Wuhan flu, and they can't get unemployment because the state's tried going automated to avoid social contact.

I just watched the MST3K version of SAMSON VS THE VAMPIRE WOMEN, which is the last one featuring Tv's Frank. It was a really nice farewell to the character, I wish they paid the same amount of attention to Joel's departure, which seemed bland and cold.

Cool movie by the way, the effects of the vampires burning were actually nicely done for such a cheap production, and the female vampires were absurdly hot.

Is it just me, or does all manga and anime art look like talentless s**t?
The big eyes, the spiky hair, the stillted, jerky animation- ugh! It makes Hanna Barbara's worst look good (well, almost.)

I have no fond memories of Scooby Doo or Josie and the p***ycats. I hated those cartoons as a kid, and I still find no artistic value or even stupid kid value in them; even when I was a stupid kid.

I remember hating anything Hanna-Barbera related. I mean, with WarnerBros around, why would you waste your time with garbage like Scooby Doo or Tom & Jerry?

After watching the MST3K episode NIGHT OF THE BLOOD BEAST, I can say without a doubt that Mary Jo Pehl is the most unfunny person ever.

She was terrible in Season 7, but she was excellent in Seasons 8-10.

If I had thought about it, then "I would do honey, but I am trying to balance a sock on my ear." would be amongst the things I would never, ever have thought I'd have a reason to say.
