I'm a little tipsy right now. I rarely get tipsy anymore. It's nice.  Cheers

My maternal grandmother has prayed so many rosaries in her long lifetime off by the ocean that she's worn calluses between her finger and thumb, and when I was little I used to ask if I could feel them, and she'd usually let me. I think she was proud of her calluses because she saw them as well-earned and  a sign of holiness.

Well last night I met my friend in her car for a minute because she wanted to give me something that came for me while I was away for a few days last week, and I touched her hand and she had this rough place on her right thumb which I asked about because I'd never noticed it, and she said lately she's developed a habit of stroking her thumb with her index finger and doing it so long that she's made a little line of rough skin on her thumb.

I asked her why she did that and she said maybe it was a nervous thing.

I said what, you? You're high-energy but what do you have to be nervous about?

She goes, "The welfare of other people."

Well, I guess I get that but still wearing your thumb hard by rubbing it is not helping anyone that much.

Then she said she worried about me all the time and said I have been a challenging friend to know but she loved me anyway, and I thought about that all night, she loves me but worries about me so much that I'm part of why she's begun a nervous habit that's rubbed her skin rough?

Is that sweet or troublesome?

My thumb and forefinger of my right hand have deep yellow stains because I smoke too many cigarettes.
I'm a scary looking little bastard.

I've concluded there's only one way I'll make kraken before the end of this year: bribe the hell out of Reverend Powell.

I totally did not encounter a single ghost alone yesterday at Brian's haunted apartment, and did not get demon possessed whatsoever, but I did keep Bob Larson's number on speed dial, just in case.

Everybody who knows I recently rented that place for a year just because he used to live there thinks I'm morbid, but it's not that, I just have a lot of good memories about it.

It didn't get spooky there at first, weeks back, when I first got it, and I wasn't thinking it would, it wasn't supposed to, but the last two times I was there before yesterday it felt like.....

I don't know what to say. It felt like it was not a good place for me to go. Truthfully it felt malevolent. I am sure if his sister went there with me she wouldn't feel that at all, which is just her happy nature but whether what I have felt there is in my head or something outside it, I have felt very uneasy there at times. Like: stand up, walk out fast, do not look behind you, do not ever go back. This is not a good place for you, and something is using that.

Yeah, it was like that.

Life is strange and some places don't seem to play by everyday rules.

Life is strange and some places don't seem to play by everyday rules.

That I will agree with. I seen ufos, I had poltergeist activity when I lived in that old shack in back of the Welch's factory.  It usta be a migrant house in the early 1900's. It had an outhouse out back. (we had plumbing inside.)
Everything on top of my fridge just went flying off. Cereal boxes. A mouse trap. A can of Ajax. Everything.
Sometimes in the middle of the night we (Me, Jed, Eddie, Leroy, and Corky) would wake up because it sounded like someone dropped a truck onto the roof. It shook the house. I loved that place. Big yard- acres of woods in the back. No neighbors breathing up your ass. But it had a habit of going on spooky binges once in a while.
I have no clue what to make of this kinda madness.

it's been one year since I started working at the store I'm currently at, and there's very few people left that started that day to now that's still there.
