I think Worf is my favorite Star Trek character of all time because what he doesn't have figured out, he doesn't worry about unless he needs to. Pretty Zen for a Klingon.

Mea maxima culpa, I was tired of being just under 9,000 posts.

My fave scene with Worf is where he meets Dahar Master Kor who, aside from a few bumps on his forehead and the rest of his face, is pretty much still the same Kor from Errand of Mercy.

Every time someone posts a satellite image of Hurricane Ida, I can't help thinking about this '80s morning dj song "I'm gonna get me a Neil Frank haircut".....

Particularly, the line "Please don't explain hurr-i-canes, Just tell me when will it rain!"

Wish I could find that song......

Life is like a bowl of Halloween candy.
Sometimes you end up with a Tootsie Roll, or maybe a carmel corn ball.

And sometimes you end up with an apple with a razor inside.

In all my years of arrowhead collecting, I've only had one point stolen from me.  It was a gem, too - a 5 1/8" spearhead I found in 1990 on the North Sulphur River.  I've kept my eyes out for it now for 25 years, ever since a drug addict stole it from my house in 1996.  Today it popped up on my FB feed - a Texas collector had just purchased it for $2000.  Puts us both in an awkward position; I want it back but don't have that kind of $$$ to shell out, while he wants me to have it but can't afford to eat a $2000 loss!  But, I know where it is, he's not planning on selling it, and if my fortunes improve I'll be able to get it back at some point in the future.

The song "Camouflage" is incredibly haunting.

Biden should meet with world leaders in the hallway from "Saved By the Bell" instead of Camp David

Rev - did you know there has never actually been a substantiated case of someone putting a razorblade in Halloween candy? It's an urban legend. Why would someone do that knowing it could easily be traced to their house?

Yes, I did know that. You probably can't make razor-blade apple pie either.

Is it a stretch to say that Eric Clapton was the second best guitarist for the 60's and 70's? Because you have Jimi Hendrix for the 60's and Eddie Van Halen for the 70's.
yeah no.

LilCerberus

^Well, there was some empty space between Hendrix & Van Halen, & I don't think Van Halen really gained appreciation until the '80s, whereas Clapton was alive all three decades....^

Always thought Clapton was overrated, although he has his fair share of people who would disagree with that.
