11. SMOKEY & THE BANDIT 3 (1983)

one of the lowest points in the history of cinema I'd say... how a film this devoid of any reason to exist can be financed, casted, shot, released, and marketed, by fully grown adults, is a mystery to me.

I saw that three times, count 'em 3 times, in the drive in... we'd do anything to sit in the car and smoke weed.  "I'm gonna be the bandit!  I'm gonna be the bandit...!"

14...or is it 15? BEYOND THE POSEIDON ADVENTURE (1979)

condolences, I'm sorry to hear that...  :bouncegiggle:

15. HALLOWEEN 5

this is actually not my least favourite HALLOWEEN sequel, but it's a perfect example of how a once-credible franchise can stray so far from its origins (not counting part 3 which wasn't meant to be in the same universe)... a bizarre mess

Fixing up the numbering:

1. "Mac and Me" (1988)
2. "Cheerleader Camp" (1988)
3. "Bucky Larson" (2011)
4. "Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2" (2000)
5. "Sleepaway Camp" (1983)
6. "Wolfman" (2010)
7. "Conquest of the Earth" (1980)
8. "Bolero" (1984)
9. "Foodfight!" (2011)
10. "2012" (2009)
11. "Titanic" (1997)
12. "Smokey and the Bandit 3" (1983)
13. "Jaws 3D" (1983)
14. "Sid and Nancy" (1986) (the only one I disagree with being on this list)
15. Prometheus (2012) (replacement for "Beyond the Poseidon Adventure")
16. Halloween 5 (1989)
17. "In Search of the Titanic/Tentacolino" (2004)
18. "Godzilla" (1988)

I'll add

19. "Cats" (2019) I think this actually falls into the hell of mediocrity, but enough people really hate it to qualify, and it was a huge, embarrassing flop. Kitty Taylor Swift kinda makes me want to become a furry, though:

Completely void of anything of value, this pile of s**t derailed Tom Green's career. Rightfully so.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

Please don't throw things at me but I actually liked that one: I understand why most people don't.

15. *"Beyond the Poseidon Adventure (1979) (technically outside the parameters of worst movies since 1980)

Oops, remove it.  I was thinking it was 1980, looked it up and forgot "since 1980"... Sorry about that.

Dr. Whom

Nobody mentioned Prometheus (2012) yet?

That can replace #15.

And it reminds me:

20) Alien 3

I haven't seen it, but I'd probably end up disagreeing. Some people hated it, but it got 73% positive on Rotten Tomatoes and a 7.0 on IMDB. But controversial choices are acceptable and I put it on, as pacman suggested, in place of #15.

This list needs some Uwe Boll, so

22. House of the Dead (2003)
