There are all these different kinds of lime flavored potato chips at the liquor store.

My D&D group tonight used a spell to turn a tree into a canoe since they lacked any woodworking skills or appropriate tools. I let them do it as it was within the spells powers. As they all climbed into the boat and pushed off from the bank I asked them to roll Intelligence checks, then informed them that they'd just realised that they forgot to make any paddles.

I was playing a review game called Tic-Tac-Trivia with my 7th graders today.
The category was "Texas History," the question was: "In what year was President Kennedy murdered in Dallas, TX?"
As the team tried to arrive at the answer, one girl asked:
"Wasn't he the President on 9/11?"

When I mentioned to a young recruit that I'd started Phase 2 training on September the 11th he asked what happened that day?

Anyway, happy Star Wars day out there, although I prefer The Revenge of the 5th myself.  :bouncegiggle:

We had a tornado! It was about 5 miles from Lawton, went a little south of us. Rained like p**s out of a boot! Jed, Lily (my litlle Cheweenie dog) and me went to our cellar. It's an old fruit cellar, with dirt floors and stone walls. Steep plank steps going down. I bumped my ass down them steps fast! The metal hinge door was cracked so we could see what was going on outside! We stayed down there about 30 minutes. Dam! Real high winds and sideways rain! Constant Thunder! It was cool!  :hot:
Lawton sets in a swampy valley, so the tornado stayed to the higher ground just south of us near Marcellus. We lucked out.

It was an awful night. Starting around sunset, severe, slow-moving storms struck the area bringing almost constant lightning, with flashes on top of flashes, and at the worst of it around twenty counties had tornado watches in effect and there were fifteen local tornado warnings, meaning  confirmed on the ground tornadoes. I'm not certain what the final count was of how many touched down but I'm sure damage was widespread. The news said in April forty-three tornadoes hit my state. Growing up the state averaged twelve a year. It was a scary storm.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

I saw some film that puts out the theory that Hitler outlived the war and lived in Argentina. That stupid theory was put to rest in the 50's.

No, in 1968 they came up with proof that at least part of Hitler survived.

I am wondering how www.amazon.co.za is going to do here: they have some stiff competition with Takealot. 🤔
