After a few days of discussions about religions, a thought randomly popped into my head that Christians will steal any idea that isn't nailed down.

This was quickly followed by a second thought popping up "And they will worship anything that is."

Boris Johnson is now claiming that he didn't know he was breaking the law when he attended lockdown parties, despite is being him that put the rules in place.

1) That tells me he is a total idiot who doesn't understand the laws he is putting in place.

2) Ignorance of the law is not an acceptable defence in a court.

He is very much trying to keep the focus on the war in Ukraine as a distraction to challenges against his position.

I wonder if Santa's Workshop & Superman's Fortress Of Solitude ever ran into zoning disputes....

And, did they ever have to put up with unwanted tourists?
I mean, the North Pole aint exactly the most discrete place on Earth, especially these days.....

And did either of them truly know that Admiral Byrde was lying, but figured the world didn't need to know?

CNN+ died. Why do they need another CNN, which is a 24 hour news station already?  Question

Just an hour of the news is too much for me!

When I moved into another part of the house due to renovations in 2018, I stopped watching TV. I haven't watched it since and I don't miss it.

Anything explained simply is generally sadly inaccurate.

It seems very little these days can be boiled down to just a few words, and yet we all keep trying to simplify things, perhaps in the wistful hope that things will get easier.

Tomorrow's a public holiday here: something to do with the law on something or other that if a public holiday appears on a Sunday, the next day is a public holiday too  Question

I had a beard in my early 20s. I was told it made me look like a werewolf. I shaved it off before a date with a nice girl (we went to see Waterworld), and ever since then not shaving regularly has really bugged me. Normally I can go about 3 days then it all has to come off.

I buzzz them whiskers once every quarter or so, then get tired of straining my coffee after a few months & start over.....

I once went a year or two for some movie I was working on, then I was glad to get rid of it.

Yeah, well it's no party having skin so tender & whiskers so tough that you frequently cut yourself with an electric razor.....
