I like that I get up early enough to have a second blue hour. I think it may be the prettiest time of each day.

Even more fun when the dad to your niece just leaves you to assemble it alone....Oh well, I assembled my niece's crib and changing table.

Strangest thing....a pair of shoes in my size showed up in my closet today, not new, but I have no idea where they came from and no memory of ever purchasing them. I have never been all that into shoes so I don't have such an Imelda-like array of them that I'd forget a pair, thus possible answers include:

My husband having an affair with a woman with my exact shoe size, who chose to leave barefooted.

I have slipped into another dimension where the me who bought the shoes is now in my old dimension wondering where that pair of shoes went.

I am the victim of an odd prank.

These are not shoes but a shape-shifting intergalactic entity.

I am mistaken and have forgotten ever owning these....actually rather nice shoes.

On my usual reading of reviews of random movies on iMDB, I found two strangely similar, by different persons, although in very close dates. The funny thing is that they're quite accurate.

I'll pour a circle of salt around it. Maybe add some kosher salt to the mix in case it's Jewish.

When I'm with my in-laws I try to find a balance between the positivity of Ted Lasso and the downerism of Marvin the Paranoid Android. I call it Lassoing the Robot. I'm Lassoing the Robot right now, and it's just as fun as a doggone buncha prairie dogs in the boss's new Cadillac!
