I was at high school with a guy that seriously creeped out all the girls. Several of them had asked never to be left alone in a room with this person. I found out some years later, the girls also had an agreement not to have sex with him and let him breed. I wonder how common that is?

I think the girls at my high school had a similar pact about me, so I'd say pretty common.

Wherever you are I hope you can see the moon tonight, and that it looks as beautiful there as it does here at this moment.

Well, after taking a sick day yesterday, I'm ready to hop back in the traces and give ignorance a good old boop on the snoot today!

I went to Target yesterday and wandered over to their movie section to see if anything jumped out at me as something I might want to pick up and watch.

There wasn't one.

I don't mean there wasn't anything I wanted to watch.  I mean there wasn't a movie section.  They just had a small endcap with a few of the newest DVDs on it.  It was only about a year ago Target had isles worth of movies.  Good, bad, new old.  Now?  Nothing.

Eventually the same will happen with printed books. I'm glad I live when I do, and I pity people in the future.

It's just getting impossible to find decent bad movies anymore.

I used to just be able to stroll through isles of movies and pick something out based soley on it's box art.  Now you actually have to know what you're looking for and search for them online.

TUBI TV has an INSANE inventory of truly awful films.  And a few good ones, too.

It's not the same though.

As an Archeologist, I'm sure you can appreciate the difference between knowing you can find something somewhere and just randomly finding it.  The hunt is part of the thrill.

Listening to a random playlist of rock songs. One came on that I wasn't familiar with. Mark said it was a good song that he liked. I asked if by any chance it was a song from the 90s? When he asked me how I knew that I replied: "He is singing just using vowels."

I was hoping Top Gun Maverick would have won more than just the one Oscar: our local distributors normally re-release a movie if it wins many major awards.

Had a great time signing books this weekend - two days, two stores, 29 copies of my novels now in the hands of new readers!

Sad but true here too: all the stores which once sold DVDs and CDs have closed: those that used to and are still in business no longer sell things like that. Pawn shops here sell second hand DVDs and CDs, but quality wise:  Buggedout
