Here's the trailer. What do you think?

I like how it has Jamie Lee Curtis!

It's been roughly a couple years since I've seen a movie.  I can tolerate getting popcorn/soda with a mask on but when I sit down it will come off.  I'd imagine there won't be too many people in the theater anyway.

That said, I will look forward to seeing a "turn your brain off" movie like this one.  Hopefully there aren't dumb plot twists in this one like the last one with the doctor going psycho.  Though I did think it was funny when she tells the doctor that Michael spoke to her.

"What did he tell you?" the doctor says.
She goes, "He said one word." (then Michael wakes up)
"F**K!!!!!" (like, that was the word)
Kinda cracked me up.

I like that they're bringing back some characters from the first movie (1978) and that Mikey looks plenty p**sed off and ready to deal out some seriously nasty carnage (that circular saw kill especially!).  Probably go by myself unless my renter wants to go.

I saw the 2018 Halloween reboot: not bad. Apparently Halloween Kills starts where that one left off.  Smile

If you look close at the trailer, it features some dead people wearing the masks from HALLOWEEN III!

Thing I'm curious is if they're going to bring back supernatural elements, which are implied at the end of the original film but completely ignored in the 2018 film.  Seems like that might happen in this one to raise the stakes, so to speak.  We already know there's one more sequel coming, to close it out as a trilogy, so otherwise seems like it'll be rough going on that long.

I'm definitely interested, as I enjoyed the 2018 film.

Also, John Carpenter and his son did more music work.  They did great stuff for the music in the 2018 film.  Try this track from the new film!
