Ever experienced tunnel vision? Not as in the expression, I mean the real-life stress reaction, where your vision retreats til it is like you're looking out from a point far back inside yourself, everything compressed like you're seeing it down the wide end of binoculars.

I have during a few select horrible events, and from a physiological standpoint I doubt it indicated anything good was going on inside.

 i've lived with tunnel vision all my life, seeing in the " normal" way would likely send me to an asylum. i can't even comprehend what peripheral vision really is.

Never: Dad had an alcohol problem towards the end of his life so I don't touch liquor at all.

I will have a beer shandy now and then, that is delicious but no hard tack.
