This year, the Razzies are adding a special category just for Bruce Willis.  Bruce was in so many bad or mediocre movies in 2021 that he got special treatment this year.

The nominees for worst performance by Bruce Willis in 2021 movies are ...

    Bruce Willis / American Siege
    Bruce Willis / Apex
    Bruce Willis / Cosmic Sin
    Bruce Willis / Deadlock
    Bruce Willis / Fortress
Bruce Willis / Midnight in the Switchgrass
Bruce Willis / Out of Death
Bruce Willis / Survive the Game

I didn't se any of these movies.

I saw "Cosmic Sin." It was dreadful.

I think ole Bruce is now entering the Nicolas Cage phase of his career; i.e. appearing in tons of B Movies for quick pay checks.

Can't say I've even heard of any of them.

Midnight In The Switchgrass was released to cinemas here, lasted a week, no one went to see it  :buggedout:

Imagine if Bruce loses... What could be worse than win all the nominees to the worst performance? Not winning a single one.

Like, the Bruce Willis in American Siege lost with the Bruce Willis in Apex. The Bruce Willis in Apex lost with the Bruce Willis in Cosmic Sin, and so on. And finally, the Bruce Willis in Survive the Game lost with Bruce Willis in American Siege.

Not much of a fan of the Razzies but I confess the Bruce Willis category is highly amusing.

Cage's performances are usually way better in his awful films, I will say.  He goes all in.

Also...  I feel a bit bad repeating this, but there's been rumors circulating for years that Bruce Willis has some kind of early memory loss issue, possibly dementia.  He doesn't seem to do interviews any longer, even at the time of Glass he seems pretty off in them (slower, recall difficulty, etc).  He's been seen with an earpiece to feed lines in a lot of stuff the past few years, including his on-stage performance in Misery.  People on set talk about him seeming off or confused at times.

If true, that just makes his last couple of years of work and this Razzie category kind of depressing.

If that's true, I kinda feel bad about laughing at the guy now.

If you google Bruce Willis dementia (it's painful to do as my father was in the beginning stages when he died in 2008) a lot of stories come up where its' claimed that handlers are constantly with him on set, getting line readings via an earpiece, etc.

I believe he's taking these jobs to ensure that if something happens to him and he is later unable to work (or worse) his family will be looked after. Some sources say he gets close to $1 million a picture.

Very sad, if true.

Well, this is really putting a damper on the mockery.

I was watching a few minutes of Deadlock on Youtube a few hours back and I can plainly see he is struggling. I recognize the signs as I have personal experience of this horrible disease. I saw it with Dad who tried everything to hide his issues but couldn't, especially not from Mom and myself.

When Bruce Willis' character is shot at the end, he slumps into a chair and his facial expression says "Thank God, that's over."  :bluesad:

I hope I'm wrong about him but after what Mom and I went through with Dad.....  :bluesad:

The plus side of him having memory problems is that he doesn't have to remember being in these movies.
